with a dynamo you wont get any power to feed the capacitor until you spin the dynamo fast enough for the voltage reg to pull in . this wont happen at kickstart revs . capacitors only work on permanent magnet alternaters that generate from zero revs. you need a small battery to activate system

ref:-brake light switch. there is a lucas motor cycle one that fits straight on. just requires slight adjustment of operating lever. sorry don't know part number.

yes. basically, fitting it stabilised the oil pressure from the oil light flashing occasionaly to a steady reading of 60 psi even at tickover

ref-the alloy tube over the oil filter     I use a similar device the idea is to pick up oil from bottom of sump as filter can project above oil level and suck air causing low oil pressure especialy on steep hills etc

nice pictures its my bike tank is v50 I made the inlet manifold oil filter etc bike was police ive had it 24 years lost 8 lb by machining flywheel  its not a bad old plodder

this info may be a bit late but the plastic filters and base nut are aermacchi components dont know about spring and tube you could try aermacchi dealers

what oil are you using ? if monograde try changing to 10/40 semi synthetic  it worked for me

ref three pegs on selector drum   mine has a steel disc with three holes  slips over outside end of the three pegs and braces them all together
