Greetings once again - been a while but I still follow what’s going on re face ache!
Going through my odds and ends, I have a pair of bars from my Civile (no longer in my garage), a clutch lever with decompressor lever, and a brake lever.  I also have another pair of bars which are from my Guzzi 750T, very similar to those from the Civile.  If anyone is interested, I will attempt to post pics.

Looks like it, thanks, banquo. I’m happy that the stuff is going to be used rather than being stuck in the garage.
Ride safe.

Wanted and For Sale / Re: Bits n Pieces Update

Although I've sold my Civile (it's now on eBay at £5999) I still  take an interest in the model, and keep tabs on the forum.  Sorting my collection of parts accumulated in the garage, I came across the almost unused Wirth-Federn progressive fork springs (fit NF Civile) which I'd like to sell.
I paid £60 for them, (BrooksBarn have them on eBay at £118.55) but if anyone's interested before they go to auction, they can have them for £45 plus a fiver postage.  If postage is less, I'll stick the difference in the package!  I don't suppose anyone would want the original oil filter alloy tube and mesh insert, but I have those as well.  Safe riding :)

Well, I have a confession to make - I've sold my Civile!
I had planned to add a few accessories to it, but now they're surplus to requirements, and
can email pics to anyone interested. This is what I have:
Handlebar fairing, white with red lining.
Pannier frames
Panniers in white.
Flywheel cover, front and rear in good standard condition.
Standard handlebars.
Progressive  front fork springs as new.
PM me if interested.

I bought a pair of locks from eBay which were for a Royal Enfield. Not as nice as the originals, the lever needed bending a bit but they work.
Less than 10GBP if I recall.

As a matter of interest,  Redsingle, what other products do you stock / sell?

I've just changed the bars on my Civile for a pair from another Guzzi.  I doubt if they're the same as fitted to the Sahara though.

Great Rides / Re: Herefordshire on the Edge

Every ride is a great ride.
Very true, Jake.  Last night we met up with another club which is an annual event, and were one friend down on last year, so have resolved to ride as often as possible.  Tomorrow, we're going to meet up with a chap who is fitting a Merlin engine which I think came from a tank ( not a Spitfire), into a Bentley.  Should be intriguing!

I wouldn't call them Great Rides, but I've been out an about on the Civile during the past week.  I recently fitted a pair of bars from another Guzzi, which not only look better but are also comfortable, and also a new pair of brake and clutch levers which incorporate mirror mounts.  Not original, I know,  but the chances of finding and affording originals is minimal, so I'll make do with what I have.  Anyway, the bike ran well and I enjoyed the rides, which is, after all, what it's all about. ;D

Newbies say hello / Re: Photobucket is gone (effectively)

Good morning one and all.  It's good to read that you intend to retain the site, Jake, despite being pupped upon by PB.  as Ken says, this site is the point of reference for all of us who have an "unusual " taste in bikes!
I do venture on to Facebook occasionally, but rarely post on there. Who would be interested in what I get up to?
This site is a regular port of call for me, even if there's nothing new on when I visit, but I'll keep visiting and refreshing my knowledge of the beast at the very least. I now wonder if I should have bought the militaire version as opposed to the Civile, but I couldn't resist that exposed flywheel!  Must admit I'm tempted to turn a radius on it as I think it would look better, but then I'd have to either paint it or get it rechromed.  Decisions, decisions!
The other option is to fit the covers I've bought, but then I have to decide whether or not to machine it so the flywheel is still visible to some extent.  Good fun, ain't it?

I have to admit to being a newly on Facebook and am more comfortable on here, but I do look on there every so often.

Your other bikes / Re: The other GUZZI.....
« on: July 15, 2017, 06:18:14 pm »
A while ago I bought a lovely Cali EV but I couldn't get on with the foot boards, and also, the seat was too low, creating uncomfortable knee/ leg angles.  What I SHOULD have done was sent the seat to Wells near Leics., and had it built up, then I might have been ok, but I didn't and sold it.  I'm ALWAYS drawn to the Cali, but know it's not for me. :'(

My other Guzzi is a 1992 750T - a nice little bike which is, in reality, a bit small for me.  I quite fancy a Spada, like Dave's.  I likes that, especially in that colour scheme.

Good morning, banquo, I hope you don't mind, but I emailed pics of the fuse holder etc., as I've not got round to learning how to post.  If you feel they might interest others, please feel free to put them on here.
Apologies, if I've inconvenienced you in any way by using your email address.
