Hello from Tucson
« on: June 04, 2015, 11:19:34 pm »
Hi,

I'm Rod Wagoner from Tucson, AZ.  I currently have an 03 Stone with a sidecar but have (and still do) always lusted after a Nuovo Falcone.  I succumbed to a RE Bullet as a stop-gap thumper but hope to find a Nuovo Falcone soon.  What better way to start than to join this group?

Kind regards,

Rod

Welcome Rod.
We're not as active as we should be on here, after losing our previous forum when the host pulled the plug without warning.
Some of the guys have managed to find the new location, but we're still short of about 30 previous members.
There's quite a lot of resurce on here if you trawl around.
NFs were never sold here in the UK, but we had a bunch of ex military ones arrive about 15 years ago, and there have been more last year from the Yugoslavian Army (JNA).
There are a few in the US, and as you will see, one of our more prolific members is up in Ontario, a polar opposite to Tucson.
There's a lot in common between the Bullet and the NF, but there is something especially involving in NF ownership, that's impossible to put a finger on.
Getting from nowhere in particular to somewhere else at a very slow pace is what it's all about, and the enjoyment of simple machinery.
I hope you're lucky enough to find one.
There was one for sale in CA a while back, but at silly money, but if you keep your eyes open, you never know!

Welcome Rod I too have just joined and was lucky enough to find a bike through Banquo on this site. I also have an Enfield along with quite a few other bikes but I decided I wanted to get back to simple machines again that do not require laptops to fault find. Italian stuff is certainly a bit different. I was planning to go to Italy and buy one as there are a few down there.
