Another Falcone in Perthshire.
« on: October 04, 2016, 08:33:17 pm »
Hello everyone. I've had quite a few Italian bikes in my time including Ducati MHR, Darmah SS and a rather tasty Laverda 120 Jota. All were turned into children's shoes, Spam (the eating variety) and mortgage repayments, just the usual then.
I've owned many others too of course including BMW, Honda, Kawasaki, BSA etc. My main interest though, has nearly always been BMW. I've never owned a Guzzi although I always thought they looked and sounded wonderful.
Everything changed for me in March of this year, when I succumbed to the charms of a Cali 1100i. For the first week or so I thought I'd made a horrendous mistake. Thereafter I was solidly hooked!
To cut a long, and quite possibly boring story short, I added both a Spada and a Falcone to my overcrowded garage last week. The force is strong in me now.
I'll post some photos later on when I'm allowed back into the house and can get my camera!

Excellent Junco1 (are there Juncos in Scotland?) Remember that like the airheads, Guzzis like to rev.  They may have plenty of grunt, but are happiest when the motor is spinning nicely.  Good luck with all three.

Thanks Nick. There is at least one Junco in Scotland! We just call him Robin.
