Exhaust Flange Needed
« on: August 04, 2017, 02:19:56 am »
My Nuovo Falcone Sahara project is slowly coming together.  The bike was somewhat disassembled when I bought it, and I can't find an exhaust (header) flange in the boxes of loose parts.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find a replacement?  I'm not sure if this part is common to other Guzzi models.

Sorry patentgeek; I'm not sure the flange fits anything else, although you would think they would use a stock part for it (Eldo maybe?). If you search the parts book (under links section) you should get a part number, and if you search that on Google, it may return a result from one of the German sites. I'd usually have a go at doing this for you, but I'm just getting packed for a vintage rally...  ;) I've never seen a flange for sale on ebay.

Hi Patentgeek,

I might have a flange for you. Might even have a handlebar. I'll have to check and let you know.

OK; responsibility won out.... you'll find it one here: http://www.smotos.de/Ersatzteile/Aluminium-Teile.pdf
Part No. 10 12 02 00. They show it twice, so best to check what's what. http://www.smotos.de/kontakt.html
Warning; buying from SMS ain't easy. IIRC they only accept expensive bank transfer

Thanks for all the responses!  I need to buy a crankshaft sealing kit from Redsingle, so that would work out well.

I have found the flange, new and zinc plated. Handlebars are sold.
